The Museum covers the history of Powell and the Big Horn Basin.

HOURS:
May to September: Friday - Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
October to April: Tuesday - Friday, 1:00pm to 4:00 pm

ADMISSION: Free

EXHIBITS:
The Museum's exhibits focus on the early history of the Big Horn Basin, and include a train caboose, photographs, early day tools, farm machinery, geological displays, Indian artifacts, uniforms and clothing, and a homesteader's kitchen.

PUBLICATIONS:
The Museum offers free publications about the Shoshone Irrigation Project - 4 Divisions: Garland (1906-1909), Frannie/Deaver (1917), Willwood (1927) and Heart Mountain (1947). There are interpretive signs about the 4 Divisions at Homesteaders Park.
