Poetry Out Loud Returns for the 2025-2026 Season!  

The Wyoming Arts Council invites educators of grades 9-12 to participate in this year’s Poetry Out Loud program joining students from across the nation in celebrating the power of poetry and performance. 

This free, ready-to-use program helps students build public speaking skills, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for literature through memorization and recitation.  Schools, clubs, and community groups are all eligible to participate. 

Wyoming State Finals: March 2, 2026 | Cheyenne

State Champion $200 + trip to Washington, D.C.

Winning School: $500 for poetry materials
