6:30 PM
171 N Adams Ave, Buffalo, WY
"Sacajawea’s life was one of adventure and discovery. She had a purpose and her purpose helped to
expand the United States of America in the early 1880s. Sacajawea, a young Shoshone woman,
helped Lewis and Clark on their Corps of Discovery expedion. These men were set with the task of
exploring the great lands of the Louisiana Purchase that President Thomas Jefferson had recently
acquired. Ira will lead us along their path sharing stories of the journey and discussing what
happened to Sacajawea after the Expedion - and where she is most likely buried.
