Welcome to the living history of Wyoming

Albany County Chapter

Chartered: May 7, 1954

The Albany County Historical Society meets eight times a year on the third Tuesday of the month. Their meetings are held at the Alice Hardy Steven Center on the grounds of the Laramie Plains Museum (former home of Mr. & Mrs. Edward Ivinson, Laramie pioneers.) The ACHS publishes notices of each meeting, along with a synopsis of the featured speaker, seven days before the meeting date. The average attendance at meetings is 35 people, which includes members and guests. Refreshments are always served, and people most often remain after the featured program to visit with the speakers and friends.
